What the site collects

The site has no reader accounts, forms, advertising trackers, cross-site tracking, fingerprinting or individual profiles. Search runs in the site experience.

Aggregate analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand broad, aggregate demand, including page views, popular page paths, general traffic sources, approximate location—which may include country, region and city—and device or browser type. It does not set tracking cookies, and this site sends no custom analytics events. The analytics integration removes search queries, other query values and URL fragments before page-view data is sent. It retains only approved campaign labels identifying Facebook or X, the social channel and this site’s daily publishing programme. The site operator does not receive raw IP addresses through the analytics reports.

Hosting and technical logs

Vercel may process ordinary request and security information needed to deliver, measure and protect the site. Access is limited to operational need. We do not use the resulting information for advertising, cross-site tracking or individual profiling.

Future changes

If feedback tools, mailing lists or other data collection are introduced later, this notice will be updated before activation to explain the purpose, provider, data, access and retention. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@whilethebillyboils.com.au.
